An introduction to advertising on the Minecraft Server List ("the site")
To prevent abuse, this service isn't currently open to all users. If you're interested, join our McList's official Discord server to ask, an admin will help you get set up (or you can use self-service activation).
Since 2023/02/18, ad permissions can be self-activated by users, or you can still contact an admin via Discord to activate it.
Requirements to activate: A server registered on the site for 90 days or more will be automatically approved and go live.
* Ads from self-activated users are still reviewed, self-activation doesn't skip review.
Any R18/R20 content, or links, images, or text not appropriate for a public page, including gambling, scams, personal attacks, or other illegal content.
If an ad is found to be illegal or inappropriate, admins will remove it immediately and require changes within a deadline. If not corrected, admins will revoke the account's ad privileges permanently.
Ads cost NT$600 / 31 days, plus a one-time NT$100 first-listing fee.
Discounts are available for a single booking of 6 months or more, contact an admin beforehand for a discount code.
7 days before an ad expires, the system automatically sends a Discord notification (not linked yet? Click here to link it). To renew, click the link in the message to get payment details. If you don't need to renew, you can ignore it, later, to resume the ad, go to Ad Manager and click the "Unpaid" link to get payment details.
If the site has an outage during your ad's run, admins will extend it accordingly, e.g., a DDoS-related outage would extend the ad by a day.
1. Go to our Discord server and contact 猫又おにぎり (nekomataonigiri) to request an ad, or use use self-service activation.
2. Once an admin grants access (or you self-activate), go to the Advertising page to create your ad.
3. Pay through the specified payment platform and wait for admin review, your ad will then start showing in the menu and on server info pages.
* If there are any issues, an admin will contact you directly via Discord (or via in-site mail/email for self-activated ads), please keep an eye out.
* Time before the ad officially goes live doesn't count; the 31-day period starts once you receive the "your ad has started" notification.
* You can edit your ad anytime after it goes live, please keep the "Prohibited Ad Categories" section in mind, as admins review ads periodically.
* Ads currently rotate every 30 minutes; this may be adjusted based on ad volume in the future.

* To keep the site's layout consistent, no additional ad placements are planned for now.
No refunds for cancellation requests made less than 3 days or more than 2 weeks (14 days) into the ad's run (based on system/email timestamps).
No refunds for ads force-hidden by admins due to violations.
For reasons other than the above, you may choose a refund via discount code or direct refund.
